Examples of 3 Excellent Website Opt-in Forms
Having a website opt-in form is a fantastic way to encourage visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter.
But just having an opt-in form in place will not automatically mean they will sign up. Effective methods and strategies will increase your website visitors' likelihood of signing up for your newsletter or email marketing campaign.
So, what makes an opt-in form stand out?
Here are examples of our favorite website opt-in forms and why they are more likely to attract more sign-ups:
Uncomplicated: While this one isn’t an obvious opt in, it does offer a very clear call to action making it very easy to sign up. The use of graphic image is minimal requiring the visitor to focus on the copy.
Engaging copy: The copy is clear and attention-grabbing. (Who doesn’t want to be lucky?) And this example is fun and interactive but simple and clean.
Visually attractive: This might be an obvious one, but many non-designers, when they see the word "form", they're going to imagine a simple row of empty text fields. In this example, the visitor is only asked for their email address, and we appreciate the use of an image in the background that doesn’t detract from the text.
